A Bit About Us
Working Towards a Stronger, Inclusive Jewish Future
Masorti On Campus was launched in the summer of 2013 as a grassroots, student-led movement. Its mission is to provide for the needs of traditional-egalitarian Jewish campus communities. Building on the 23 year legacy of KOACH, USCJ’s college outreach program, we were able to continue the important mission of supporting these communities across North America. With the support of The Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) and anonymous funding, 2014 saw the inaugural student leadership shabbaton (weekend retreat). The annual shabbaton is now our signature program, aimed at sharing best practices by bringing students together with skilled educators and professionals in the field.
In 2018 we entered into a fiscal partnership with MERCAZ USA, The Movement to Reaffirm Conservative Zionism Inc. Together we are working to foster strong pluralistic communities, built on shared Jewish values, devotion to social justice, and dedication to community and Israel.

We are committed to promoting the growth of thoughtful Jewish adults, who value both tradition and egalitarianism.
Our communities are built on shared values of the love of Torah, devotion to social justice, and dedication to community and Israel; we hold these principles to be the pillars of modern Judaism.
